There’s a lot going on right now, and it just seems to keep coming. So the question is…
How to deal with stress?
It feels like before we can mourn the loss of life from one tragedy there’s another breaking news story with even more devastation.
I’m hearing from friends and acquaintances, “I feel helpless. It’s hopeless.”
I’m also hearing fear, and lots of anger. And lot’s of, “How do I deal with the stress?”
Maybe you’re feeling like you want to take action, make your voice heard. But first sweetheart, please know your best work for the world and yourself is delivered when it comes from a place of peace.
PEACE, not fear.
So, how do you deal with the stress?
In the moment, when you don’t know what to do, and your head and heart all over the place, it’s time to calm down FIRST so you can then…focus.
This meditation, from my beloved teacher Gabby Bernstein, can calm you down. It involves the mantra, “Peace begins with me.”
The hand gesture Sadie (my granddaughter) is doing here, goes like this:
“Peace” ~ thumb & index finger
“begins” ~ thumb & middle finger
“with” ~ thumb & ring finger
“me” ~ thumb and pinky
